Theresa Redmond
ChatterboxBabies Baby Signing classes are devised by Theresa Redmond BA (Hons), MSc.
After obtaining a first class degree in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire, Theresa went on to City University in London and received a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Communication Studies (1995), qualifying her to work as a Speech and Language Therapist. Theresa then worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS in Bedfordshire, working with a wide range of communication disorders and gaining further qualifications in British Sign Language (CACDPI) and experience of using 'Makaton' and other signing systems. She also worked part time as a Research Assistant in language processing at Birkbeck College, London and in 1998 she received a Masters Degree in Clinical Communication Studies.
Theresa is HPC registered, has an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. She also works part time as an Independent Speech and Language Therapist and as a Clinical Tutor at City University, London.

Kirsty Marsden
Chatterbox is very fortunate to be joined by another Speech and Language Therapist who will be teaching Babies and Tots classes in January/February 2011. Kirsty Marsden is a fully qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a detailed knowledge of normal speech and language development and speech and language disorders. She has a special interest in the area of special needs and has experience in foundation level Makaton signing.
Kirsty is HPC registered, has an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
ChatterboxBabies now run a number of popular classes in the Watford area and more groups are planned.
